Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Integrations Application Developer on the Enterprise Performance Management team in San Francisco to bridge upstream data systems with downstream financial consumers and drive data change management.

You will design development plans, coordinate with application owners, and ensure data pipeline stability, accuracy, and proactive alerting while guiding finance transformations in Oracle EBS or HFM/FCCS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in financial systems integration, application development, or data engineering.
• A blend of an accounting/financial analyst background alongside robust technical execution skills.
• Extensive experience developing and integrating within EPM systems (e.g., Oracle EPBCS, HFM, FCCS) and core ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS)
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial and accounting requirements into scalable technical system specifications.
• Experience working with and analyzing large data volumes is a must

Responsibilities

• Process and System Expertise: Maintain intimate knowledge of the Uber Finance data model and data flow.
• Design and Oversight: Assess new integrations and changes, define development and testing plans, and plan system cutovers.
• Project Execution: Coordinate cross-functional work and develop data pipelines to adopt upstream changes.
• Engineering Excellence: Ensure stability, performance, and data quality with proactive monitoring and alerting.
• Guide Financial Transformations: Advise accounting/finance on downstream impact and design solutions.
