Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and deploy enterprise-grade AI/ML applications in the fintech/payments space. You will build and fine-tune foundation models, and lead experiments to ensure accuracy and fairness.

The role emphasizes cloud deployment, scalability, and responsible AI practices, with collaboration across engineering and data teams to operationalize cutting-edge techniques.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/DS/ML/AI or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on ML model development and production deployment.
• Proven expertise with LLMs, transformer architectures, and fine-tuning.
• Strong Python and ML libraries (PyTorch or TensorFlow, Transformers).
• Experience with cloud ML platforms and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and optimize Generative AI, LLM, and multimodal foundation models for fintech applications.
• Fine-tune/open-source and proprietary models; build NLP, document intelligence, anomaly detection, risk scoring, predictive analytics and decisioning use cases.
• Lead experiments to evaluate model accuracy, scalability, and fairness; deploy models on cloud ML pipelines (Azure, AWS) and data platforms (Databricks & Snowflake).
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets across payments and financial ecosystem; monitor drift and retraining strategies.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and responsible AI frameworks; drive POCs and innovation initiatives.
