Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional, part of RELX, seeks a Senior FinOps Analyst to shape AI cost measurement, analysis, and optimization across the organization. You will own data, analytics, and reporting to reveal financial impact of AI adoption and partner with engineering, product, and finance stakeholders to improve visibility and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes scalable, automated pipelines and credible storytelling to influence decisions with trusted data. Base pay ranges in the U.S.

Qualifications

Experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or related analytics.
Strong ability to explain methodology, assumptions, and results.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools for analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

Own AI cost modeling and attribution across models, products and teams.
Define unit-cost metrics and track usage growth vs efficiency.
Maintain clean, explainable cost data with lineage and methodology.
Build Python pipelines to normalize telemetry, provider data and cloud billing.
Automate reporting, month-end close support, and anomaly detection.
Develop BI dashboards for engineering and credible finance reporting.
Analyze cost movements, explain drivers and forward-looking impacts.
Identify optimization opportunities across model selection, prompting, caching, batching, retrieval and tooling.
