Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in financial management or financial systems.
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
• Analyze and evaluate budget estimates and proposals for accuracy and compliance with procedures and objectives.
• Measure organizational performance and assess the impact of programs on budgets.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate funding strategies.
• Review past budgets and research trends affecting organizational spending.
• Develop and maintain guidelines and procedures governing budget formulation and execution.
• Coordinate financial activities and reporting across multiple stakeholders and organizations.
• Manage and track funding across multiple funding types and sources.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and variances; identify risks and corrective actions.
• Prepare executive-level summaries, briefings, and reports.
• Perform financial reporting and analysis in support of customer requirements.
• Develop COAs and recommendations for financial issues.
• Interpret and apply financial management principles aligned with organizational goals.
• May conduct training for personnel on new budget and financial procedures.
