Job summary

Las Vegas Valley Water District is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst at the Valley View Campus in Las Vegas. The role leads and coordinates continuous improvement of financial and accounting systems, working with stakeholders across departments and serving as a liaison with IT.

Candidates should have five years of progressive accounting experience, strong project management skills, and knowledge of GAAP, GASB, and related standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in accounting or finance.
  • At least five years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience.
  • Experience in lead or project management on finance/accounting systems improvement projects is preferred.
  • CPA or other professional accounting/finance certification is desirable.
  • Experience in a large government agency or utility is preferred.

Responsibilities
