Senior Analyst, Financial Systems (NetSuite)/PMO

The Senior Analyst, Financial Systems (NetSuite)/PMO will help manage accounting system integrations and continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems with experience in implementation, project management, and a good understanding of financial processes.

They will assist in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines. Additionally, this role will serve as administrator for many accounting tools, including our ERP system (NetSuite). This includes supporting design/configuration of interfaces between external systems and ERP systems, and efforts to modify/automate system functionality.

This person will be part of a growing and agile accounting team and will be called upon to support other functions of our accounting practices as needed. We are looking for someone with a keen eye on detail and process optimization, who is excited to make an impact, add value, and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced, ever-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Systems:

• Serve as ERP administrator (NetSuite) for accounting needs such as changes to account structure, opening/closing of accounting ledgers and subledgers, and evaluation and granting of ERP access rights.
• Support gathering business requirements for the design and implementation of new processes by engaging with operations and IT management, including customization of workflows within NetSuite ERP.
• Support the full and optimal utilization of ERP system capabilities and functionality and make recommendations for improved use of ERP system.
• Perform testing of all new and/or modifications to interfaces between the ERP system and external systems for proper control and functionality.
• Create detailed process documentation and workflows to ensure proper understanding of system interfaces and data flows.
• Support and educate employees on systems functionality and processes related to internal control compliance, including assisting IT with control requirements to mitigate risk.
• Gain an understanding of accounting process bottlenecks/areas of improvement and create strategic solutions utilizing system automations and lean initiatives to optimize efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in financial systems and project management, including implementations and process improvements.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle). NetSuite experience required.
• Demonstrates strong project management skills, efficiently handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
