Recruitment Consultant Sourcing Vena Talent in FP&A and EPM Systems Management

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to oversee the operational management, enhancement, and performance of financial planning systems and data for our client, a leading organization in the real estate industry. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the planning and reporting processes across multiple business units, particularly within corporate FP&A.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Maintain and enhance the existing financial planning systems across the organization, ensuring smooth operation for segment and corporate FP&A teams.
  • Provide daily system administration and offer continuous support to the FP&A team in utilizing financial tools and data effectively.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across the financial planning and reporting systems.
  • Support monthly and quarterly forecasting and reporting processes by managing system support and troubleshooting.
  • Leverage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools to enable data transformation between various financial systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships for system support, periodic upgrades, and escalations.

Enhancements & Projects:

  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders and IT teams to define, document, and prioritize business requirements for system enhancements.
  • Lead and drive system refinements to meet business needs with minimal disruptions.
  • Design and implement new solutions for planning, data management, and reporting to improve overall performance.
  • Assist in migrating offline or Excel-based work into centralized systems.
  • Ensure the effective management of FP&A’s evolving data needs and system requirements.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Finance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial methods, tools, reporting, and terminology.
  • Planning Systems: Experience with financial planning systems such as Vena, Argus, Anaplan, or Hyperion.
  • ERP Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like Yardi.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, Power Query, and general proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity and financial analysis.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities, including strong change management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with occasional after-hours work and travel as needed.

Experience & Education:

  • Experience: 5-7 years in industry or consulting, with at least 2 years focused on financial planning systems.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience in the real estate industry is preferred. Proficiency with tools like Power BI and Tableau for data transformation and dashboard reporting.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
