Job summary

New Mexico Courts in Santa Fe, NM seeks a Financial Specialist Senior to perform a full range of accounting and fund management duties within the First Judicial District Court. This full-time role entails careful handling of budgets, ledgers, and financial records to ensure compliance with state guidelines.

The position requires GAAP knowledge, accounts payable/receivable experience, grant management, and proficiency with Odyssey and SHARE systems.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and cash receipting/control experience required.
• Four years of GAAP-based cash receipting, general ledger maintenance and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable, grants management, and budgeting processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, audit and approve accounting documents to ensure proper use of budget and expenditures.
• Maintain general ledgers and reconcile monthly reports; perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist with external audits and prepare reports for the Department of Finance and Administration.
