Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead key accounting activities, including financial reporting, policies and controls, regulatory reporting, and maintaining accurate records such as the general ledger and financial statements.

The role provides leadership to the finance team, develops talent, strengthens processes, and ensures efficient operation of the financial reporting function, including regulatory filings and rule changes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience, including management experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Audit knowledge.
• Experience with regulatory filings.
• Experience with financial statement filings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the preparation of financial statements and related schedules for internal management and regulatory agencies.
• Oversees compliance with statutory accounting principles and GAAP, regulatory filing requirements.
• Researches and implements changes in accounting rules and regulatory filings, guiding other areas.
• Manages disaster recovery plans and communications for applicable areas.
