Job summary

AES Corporation, a leading US-based power company, is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst in Indianapolis to support GAAP-compliant financial reporting and SEC disclosures. You will work with internal teams, auditors, and external partners to prepare statements, analyses, and filings.

You will help maintain internal controls, support SOX compliance, and assist with Form 10-Q and 10-K filings, while building cross-functional partnerships to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Knowledge of financial reporting principles and standards, including U.S. GAAP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication across teams.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and prepare reporting deliverables.
• Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Assist in external filings and regulatory disclosures.
• Contribute to internal control documentation and SOX compliance.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to improve reporting processes.
