Job summary

WhiteCap Search is seeking a finance reporting professional to support diverse accounting and data initiatives within the finance department. You will collaborate with the SEC Reporting Manager, Controllers and CFO to deliver analysis, enhance reporting deliverables, streamline processes, and improve data integrity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial reporting and accounting, with hands-on data/BI skills (SQL, Tableau) and experience handling large datasets.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in audit, financial reporting, or related accounting/ reporting roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Solid grasp of accounting and reporting principles.
• Experience supporting SEC or regulatory/internal management reporting for public companies is desirable.
• Proficient in data and analytical skills with Excel/SQL/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Engage in finance, accounting and reporting initiatives for external/internal reporting.
• Develop internal management reporting and recurring packages.
• Handle large datasets to support reporting, variance analysis and insights.
• Design, develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards.
• Assist quarter-end and year-end reporting, audits and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate tasks and improve data quality.
• Participate in special projects on reporting, systems and data governance.
