Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GASB pronouncements and financial reporting.
• CPA-eligible and willing to sit for exams per Utah rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing annual financial statements and other monthly/quarterly reports.
• Participate in GASB pronouncements implementation.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve accounting questions and improve transaction accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Maintain chart of accounts, chartfields and general ledger integrity.
• Assist with responses to external auditor inquiries.
