Job summary

The University of Florida seeks an Accountant IV to join the Financial Reporting team within the CFO Division. You will assist in preparing annual and off-cycle financial reports, and compile data for reports used in strategic decision making and compliance.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with six+ years of relevant experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience with PeopleSoft or Workday is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and six or more years of relevant experience.
• CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word; GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with fiscal operations managing general ledger or financial reporting.
• Experience using PeopleSoft and/or Workday Financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing University's Annual Financial Reports.
• Compile financial information for the University & Component Units.
• Implement and maintain rigorous financial reporting controls.
• Ensure timely and accurate audit documentation.
• Conduct financial analysis, data collection, reporting, and special projects as needed.
