Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field; CPA is a major plus.
• 10+ years in financial planning, real estate project controls, or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and general ledger management.
• Real estate taxes knowledge including purchases, sales, condemnation and exchange.
• Robust understanding of commercial property tax assessments, local/state tax structures.
• Proven track record of working with corporate treasury functions and auditors.
• Expert-level Excel skills and familiarity with Yardi or other accounting real estate systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with external tax advisors and financial institutions

Responsibilities

• Forecast expanding capital requirements and treasury-related activities; coordinate with treasury and real estate teams.
• Prepare real estate project proformas and long-term cash flow projections.
• Create, establish, and manage project budgets ensuring all phases stay within approved budgets.
• Code invoices with correct GL accounts for AP processing.
• Perform financial analysis for real estate acquisitions, developments, and investments.
• Monitor expenses, review vendor invoices, and ensure contract compliance.
• Review title reports and coordinate with title and legal teams.
• Manage portfolio-wide property tax compliance across transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of changing federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Manage the annual divisional budget with quarterly updates.
• Ensure financial transactions adhere to company policies and terms.
• Perform other accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned
