Job summary

loanDepot is seeking a Financial Analyst/Business Analyst to update forecast models, executive materials, and provide ad hoc analysis to enable management decisions. The ideal candidate has several years of modeling, strong Excel skills, and ideally Workday Adaptive Planning, with a hybrid Plano, TX work arrangement.

The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic support across finance and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a Financial Analyst or Business Analyst role.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry; mortgage experience highly preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the aggregation of the annual budget and drives recurring forecasts and long-term financial models.
• Analyzes and interprets financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Prepares and presents comprehensive financial reports including variance analysis and KPIs.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic initiatives.
• Develops and maintains complex financial models to support business planning.
• Assesses and mitigates financial risks through proactive analysis and recommendations.
• Effectively communicates financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
