Job summary

First Command Financial Services is seeking an Advanced Planning Consultant to serve as a technical financial planning specialist and strategic partner for Financial Advisors. You will support advisors at all experience levels in developing comprehensive financial plans, using plan analysis, planning tools, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in financial planning or related field (finance, business).
• Five+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or retirement planning.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop advisors through case collaboration by modeling best practices and sharing insights.
• Review and analyze complex client financial situations to identify planning opportunities and develop strategies.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MoneyGuide by reviewing plans and modeling scenarios.
• Conduct case review meetings with Advisors to discuss planning strategies and next steps.
• Build and maintain partnerships with Advisors by providing technical planning guidance and support.
