Reporting to the CFO, this role plays a key part in financial planning and works across all departments to provide financial and decision-support information to management and the business.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP); facilitate and manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze current and historical trends in key performance indicators — including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and operating cash flow — identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Perform customer and product profitability analysis.
  • Create and maintain financial and operational KPIs.
  • Prepare executive monthly presentations.
  • Own month-end reporting and analysis, including monthly division reports and other ad hoc requests.
  • Support ad hoc analysis for new business initiatives, including preparing complex financial analyses and maintaining financial models and forecasts.
  • Review actuals against forecasts, investigate material variances, and build and maintain automated financial models, rolling forecasts, and variance-analysis tools — including AI-driven tools — for the executive and management team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least ten years of experience in finance, preferably in a complex financial analysis capacity.
  • Demonstrated accuracy in developing and tracking complex budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain cooperative, productive working relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and tasks with diplomacy.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, including on complex problems where the right approach isn't always obvious and requires judgment beyond the data.
  • Previous experience in a financial analyst position preferred.
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel and strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to manipulate and present complex information in a usable format.
  • Experience using AI tools to automate routine tasks, accelerate data synthesis, and drive predictive forecasting.
  • CPG, retail, or e-commerce experience preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data-visualization/BI tools a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP a plus.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; pursues training and development opportunities; continuously builds knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others.
  • Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet audience needs; presents numerical data effectively.
