Job summary

Constellium Muscle Shoals, AL is seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join the finance team. You will handle sales revenue analysis, forecast, budgets and month-end close, working with cross-functional partners and external auditors.

You will analyze freight and revenue pass-throughs, prepare reconciliations, and support IFRS 15 compliance while driving improvements in internal controls and reporting accuracy across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel; SAP or similar ERP in manufacturing preferred.
• Exposure to IFRS helpful.
• Demonstrates results orientation, accountability, critical thinking and problem-solving; cross-functional work.
• Effective written and oral communication skills with high autonomy and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Sales revenue and customer analysis, including forecast and budget; maintain internal controls.
• Work with sales team to track and forecast sales volume and revenue.
• Submit constrained and unconstrained sales forecast to business unit.
• Generate monthly sales actual report and revenue journal entries.
• Analysis of freight and other revenue passthroughs (PPI, magnesium, etc.).
• Responsible for month-end cut-off procedures in compliance with IFRS 15.
• Assist with monthly forecasting, annual budgets, and long-term strategic planning regarding revenue.
• Prepare monthly customer reconciliations.
• Other ad hoc financial and sales analysis.
• Interacts with internal and external auditors as necessary; serves as link between Sales and Finance.
• Other duties as needed.

Job Summary

The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will play an integral role on the finance team, working through complex issues, transactions, and projects independently as well as collaboratively with other finance and cross functional team members. The successful candidate will be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment interacting with all levels of our organization, international team members, and external.

Constellium Muscle Shoals is an aluminum manufacturing plant based in Alabama with over 1,200 employees. With its widest strip mill in the USA and a world-class recycling center, the site represents one of the largest sites within Constellium and is a world-class can recycling center, with the capacity to recycle nearly 20 billion cans per year. Muscle Shoals' main product is aluminum can sheet for the packaging industry, particularly for beverage containers. It manufactures sheet used in all three components of an aluminum can, namely body stock, coated end stock and tab stock.
