Constellium Muscle Shoals is seeking a Maintenance Planner to develop, communicate, and maintain a workable plan that balances production needs and site priorities across all maintenance activities.

The role includes maintaining PM schedules, managing spare parts, and coordinating with production to meet priorities, with CMMS-driven workflows and strong data skills.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a 2- or 4-year degree in maintenance, business administration/management, or related field.
• 5+ years of comparable industrial heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile equipment.
• Ability to read parts diagrams and drawings.
• Adequate craft knowledge to estimate labor hours and materials.
• Strong understanding of maintenance processes, planning and scheduling.
• Microsoft Project, Excel and Word proficiency; SAP experience is a plus.

• Managing the work notification and work order backlog: Returning incomplete or poorly defined work notifications.
• Reviewing backlog and planning list; grouping notifications into single orders.
• Closing completed work orders.
• Coordinating with production teams to meet production priorities.
• Maintain equipment history in CMMS.
• Determine parts requirements for planned jobs.
• Provide necessary details/parts list and kit for jobs; ensure parts lists are current.
• Creating purchase orders for necessary components.

The Maintenance Planner will leverage Reliability based processes to develop, communicate, and maintain a workable plan that balances work requirements and site priorities across production needs and resource constraints. This includes and is not limited to predictive, proactive, planned work and the management of the tools and applications.

Responsibilities:

Providing detailed job plans that ensure safe and efficient execution of all maintenance jobs

Maintain spare parts and VMI inventory needs for all mobile equipment

Maintain PM schedules for all mobile equipment

Maintain Equipment assets list in CMMS

Managing the work notification and work order backlog:

Returning incomplete or poorly defined work notifications

Reviewing backlog and planning list

Grouping notifications together that can be planned and worked as a single order

Closing completed work orders

Coordinating with production teams to ensure job plans meet requirements of production priorities

Maintain equipment history in CMMS

Determine Parts requirements for planned jobs

Provide necessary details/parts list and kit for jobs. Ensure parts list are revised & current

Creating purchase orders for necessary components

Qualifications:

2- or 4-year degree in business administration/management or maintenance OR

5 Years’ comparable industrial heavy equipment maintenance experience with proven track record (Required)

In-depth Knowledge of Mobile equipment (Required)

Ability to read parts diagrams and drawing (Required)

Adequate craft knowledge and skill to accurately estimate labor hours, material requirement and skills needed to complete a job (Required)

In-depth knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes and planning and scheduling (Preferred)

Strong time management Skills (Required)

Microsoft Project, Excel, Word proficiency required – HIGHLY SKILLED (Required)

Experience with SAP is a plus (Preferred)

Constellium Muscle Shoals is an aluminum manufacturing plant based in Alabama with over 1,200 employees. With its widest strip mill in the USA and a world-class recycling center, the site represents one of the largest sites within Constellium and is a world-class can recycling center, with the capacity to recycle nearly 20 billion cans per year. Muscle Shoals’ main product is aluminum can sheet for the packaging industry, particularly for beverage containers. It manufactures sheet used in all three components of an aluminum can, namely body stock, coated end stock and tab stock. Additionally, Muscle Shoals’ supplies Auto Body Sheet substrate to Constellium’s Bowling Green, Kentucky, site.
