Job summary

Range is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planner to join our wealth-advisory team, reporting to the General Manager of Financial Planning. You will craft financial plans for members and support them through our asynchronous messaging platform.

You will partner with product and engineering to build tools, deliver advice, and coordinate tax and estate planning. This role is based at Range's HQ in McLean, VA or hubs in NYC or Bellevue, with in-office work Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Active designation(s) as CFP, CPA, CFA, EA, or similar.
• 6–9+ years in client-facing financial services roles.
• Experience with tax planning and building tax projections for clients.
• Experience delivering financial advice directly to consumers.
• Exceptional investment acumen and knowledge of broader planning topics.
• Significant experience using financial services technology.
• Interest in or passion for the tech space, and a desire to change the industry.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and written communication skills.
• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or related major preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand members' unique needs and advise on financial goals.
• Build and implement iterative financial plans and wealth strategies.
• Maintain knowledge of financial planning, investments, and tax planning.
• Collaborate with a team to share best practices.
• Assist engineering and product teams with product plans and roadmaps.
• Research and present investment strategies.
• Coordinate tax filing and estate planning.
