Job summary

Jobtailor, a Chicago-based company, seeks a Financial Operations Process Improvement Leader to drive end-to-end efficiency across order processing, billing, and commissions. You will partner with IT and business teams to implement Salesforce, Billing Platform, and CaptivateIQ solutions.

You will develop metrics, dashboards, and KPI reporting, analyze capacity and service levels, and contribute to SOX compliance and governance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Financial Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Process Improvement, or related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Proven success leading process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred experience with Billing Platforms, ERP, CaptivateIQ, or Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow/Green Belt or higher).
  • Experience supporting system implementations, integrations, or business transformation.
  • Knowledge of SOX controls, audit processes, or governance.
  • Experience with Power BI and advanced Excel reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, and increase scalability.
  • Facilitate process mapping, future-state design, and readiness activities for strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to support Salesforce, Billing Platform, CaptivateIQ, and other initiatives.
  • Define business requirements and work with IT to implement tech-enabled solutions.
  • Develop and maintain productivity metrics, dashboards, and KPI reporting across Financial Operations.
  • Analyze workload, capacity, cycle times, service levels, and trends to identify improvements.
  • Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Foster continuous improvement through data-driven problem solving and operational excellence.
  • Support SOX compliance, audits, and process documentation.

Job description

  • Support automation initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven problem solving and operational excellence practices.
  • Support SOX compliance, audit activities, and process documentation efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Process Improvement, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Experience with Billing Platforms, ERP systems, CaptivateIQ, or Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or higher).
  • Experience supporting system implementations, integrations, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of SOX controls, audit processes, or operational governance.
  • Experience with Power BI, Copilot, AI-enabled analytics tools, or advanced Excel reporting.
