Job summary

Gridlines is a rapidly growing financial modelling consultancy seeking an experienced model audit professional. You will lead audits of complex financial models, ensuring accuracy and reliability while collaborating with a remote team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with a foundation in building and operating financial models in Excel.
• Experience with the FAST financial modelling standard is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead model audit assignments, ensuring models are arithmetically and commercially correct.
• Use software checks and parallel model development to identify modelling errors.
• Review and interpret commercial documentation and ensure it is reflected accurately in the financial model.
• Take ownership of assignments and drive high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to development and enhancement of modelling methodologies and tools for continuous improvement.
• Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies and results.
• Maintain meticulous records of modelling processes and methodologies to uphold standards.
• Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for efficient delivery.
• Train, motivate and manage junior team members on assignments.
• Communicate model findings and insights effectively to clients and internal teams.
• Support client pitches and build client relationships.
