About the Role

The Senior Financial Integration Consultant works with Workday’s implementation projects, focusing on the most strategic and complex projects in Financials. The Senior Financial Integration Consultant collaborates closely with the client’s project team to ensure successful deployments of Workday’s integration products, tools, and services. The Senior Financial Integration Consultant will help architect, design, and manage integration deliverables across multiple Workday implementation projects. This role requires deep knowledge of service-oriented architecture design principles, common ERP Financial integration design patterns, phased implementation methodologies, various integration technologies, a consultative approach to customers, and a history of successful integration deployments. The Principal Integration Consultant is expected to proactively share knowledge and provide project support to teammates.

About You

Basic Qualifications – Senior Financial Integration Consultant (P4)
  • Minimum 5+ years demonstrated integration or technical experience in Financials ERP related domains (General Ledger, Banking, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Accounts Receivable)
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in architecture, design and build of integration solutions using tools such as: Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, XSLT, PeopleSoft''s PeopleCode, SAP''s ABAP, Java, JavaScript, .NET, C++, SQL, Other Financial ERP technology, Other Middleware technology
  • Minimum 4+ years with the ability to consult as an Advisory or Architect on customer implementations
  • Extensive knowledge (4+ years) managing small teams of Integration Consultants on multiple projects simultaneously and mentor / coach the teams on Integration best practices
Basic Qualifications – Financial Integration Consultant (P3)
  • Minimum 3+ years demonstrated integration or technical experience in Financials ERP related domains (General Ledger, Banking, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Accounts Receivable)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in architecture, design and build of integration solutions using tools such as: Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, XSLT, PeopleSoft''s PeopleCode, SAP''s ABAP, Java, JavaScript, .NET, C++, SQL, Other Financial ERP technology, Other Middleware technology
Other Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – preferable in Finance or Accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate assigned deliverable schedules to ensure client timelines are met. Provide guidance to clients or service partners on integration strategies.
  • Contribute to the customers’ experience with Workday’s integration products, tools, and services in a way that results in high customer satisfaction.
  • Lead project teams through integration discovery and scoping phases of their implementation projects.
  • Engage where appropriate in the sales cycle to help scope integration projects.
  • Proactively share knowledge and experience with teammates on financial integration related topics.
  • Provide consultative support to more junior level consultants on projects.
  • Surface implementation and process related challenges to leadership with suggestions for improvements.
  • Maintain excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrate learning agility to quickly adapt, learn from experiences, and apply knowledge to solve problems and drive innovation.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge, including an in-depth understanding of product features, benefits, applications, and market positioning.
  • Demonstrate deep technical savviness to understand, apply, and troubleshoot technical information and systems to enhance efficiency and problem-solving.
