Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a experienced finance professional to perform financial and business related research, forecasts, and trend analysis. You will develop spreadsheets and databases to facilitate reporting and lead projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as determined by the company.
• 5–10 years of relevant, progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with MS Excel and/or MS Access; familiarity with Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting; prepare reports and trends.
• Coordinate with departments and senior management on project status and deadlines.
• Develop spreadsheets/databases to facilitate analysis and reporting.
• Lead special financial projects; prepare ad hoc reports and present findings.
• Explain variances and suggest improvements to reserves, assets, and expenditures.
• Communicate outcomes and recommendations to management; ensure timely completion.
