Job summary

Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, through the Food Nutrition and Wellness program, seeks a Financial Examiner/Analyst Supervisor to lead financial compliance and program integrity efforts in Tallahassee.

The role directs examinations, staff performance, and coordination with CPA firms and state auditors to ensure federal cost principles compliance and sound financial management.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in accounting with supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Requires knowledge of accounting or auditing principles and procedures.
• Strong ability to supervise and manage staff and provide training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the financial compliance activities of the Program Integrity Section.
• Lead staff, establish goals, document procedures and provide performance evaluations.
• Oversee financial examinations, audits and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop internal control improvements and ensure timely reporting.
