Qualifications

• 5+ years of name screening (financial crimes, regulatory, risk identification related) experience.
• Ability to read and interpret adverse media content to isolate subject matter and alerting party.
• Proven due diligence experience to validate article details or identify missing data.
• Document rationale clearly and concisely in written form.
• Quality Control awareness and adherence to processes.
• 3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of financial crimes and related regulations.
• Strong analytical writing and critical thinking to parse risk in news.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate risk by executing due diligence screening within set time frames.
• Exercise independent judgment to guide medium-risk screening deliverables.
• Assist with screening activities beyond standard work queue, including workflow and data gathering.
• Provide SME support on screening policies, procedures, testing, and transformation activities.
• Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve screening process issues.
• Review screening processes and controls for improvements.
• Participate in focus groups to drive screening enhancements.
• Support training, quality review, and post-training help for new staff.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers to resolve issues and meet targets.
