X Technologies, located in San Antonio, TX, seeks a seasoned Financial Controller to lead all accounting and financial reporting efforts with a focus on government contracts and compliance with FAR/DFARS guidelines.

The role requires deep ERP proficiency, strategic financial guidance, and team leadership. You will partner with program managers to ensure contract performance aligns with financial results and oversee audits.

Qualifications

• Requires CPA or CMA preferred and 7–10 years in accounting/finance.
• At least 5 years in government contracting.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS/CAS/DCAA.
• Experience with audits and external reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting functions with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with FAR and other govt. contract requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Develop internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Collaborate with program managers to align financial strategy.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors.
• Provide financial analysis for pricing, proposals, negotiations.
• Supervise accounting staff and drive process improvements.
• Perform month-end close and prepare financial statements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting practices and government compliance.
