Job summary

GP Fund Solutions seeks a Financial Controller to drive accurate reporting and strengthen client partnerships across the US. You will lead the preparation of financial statements, oversee audits, and collaborate with Directors on strategy to support investors and fund operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field and 5+ years of accounting plus leadership experience. We offer a hybrid schedule after probation, CPA reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, paid time off,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting deliverables across multiple clients.
• Review client financial statements, partner capital statements, and other key reports.
• Provide technical accounting expertise and industry insights to clients.
• Coordinate and oversee the external audit process, as well as annual tax reporting in partnership with third-party accounting firms.
• Prepare and review partner capital calls, waterfall models, distribution notices, and management fee calculations.
• Lead, train, and mentor team members by setting clear objectives, providing coaching, and delivering performance feedback.
• Ensure the team’s compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively managing expectations and consistently meeting deliverables.
