Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join Brand Finance in Columbus, OH.

You will own selling margin forecasting, inventory forecasting, and provide data-driven insights guiding decisions across Finance and Merchandise Planning. The role requires strong financial modeling in Excel, proficiency with Power BI, and the ability to lead cross-functional alignment meetings, deliver ad-hoc analyses, and develop scalable dashboards while supporting Quarter-End

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, MP&A, Retail Analytics, or a similar analytical field.
• Strong modeling skills in Excel and proficiency with data tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• High attention to detail and a natural curiosity to dive into the “why” behind numbers.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A self-starter mentality with an eagerness to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end selling margin forecasting process with pricing and markdown implications.
• Manage inventory forecasting to align buy plans with sales expectations and productivity targets.
• Conduct promotional and pricing analysis to evaluate ROI and margin implications.
• Lead monthly forecast alignment meetings across audiences including executives.
• Collaborate with global finance partners for alignment and scenario planning.
• Build and maintain scalable reports, dashboards, and analytical tools in Power BI & Excel.
• Support Quarter-End Board Deck materials with synthesized KPIs and forward-looking risks.
• Identify opportunities to streamline forecasting processes and improve analytical rigor.
