Are you curious about how financial data can shape business decisions at scale? We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who thrives on building reports, creating financial models, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations. In this role, you will partner with business leaders to drive data-informed decision-making, improve financial processes, and deliver insights that directly impact how Amazon operates. If you are a self-starter who enjoys solving problems, automating workflows, and collaborating across teams, this is an opportunity to grow your finance career while making a meaningful contribution.
Global Logistics supports Amazon‑managed Inbound transportation service offerings across Domestic and Import vendors and sellers. This role will sit at the cross section of our FP&A, Operations, Product, Controllership and Accounting partners to support regular financial reporting (weekly business reviews, month end close reviews), own commentary for leadership reviews, and deep dive into operational trends within the business to derive insights that propels the business forward.
A day in the life
You will start your day reviewing financial data for accuracy, diving into variances and resolving discrepancies before they reach leadership. You might then shift to refining a financial model that informs an upcoming business decision, followed by a working session with business partners to align on assumptions. Throughout, you will balance recurring reporting responsibilities with improvement projects that challenge you to think creatively about how finance can better serve the business.
