Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead financial reporting and modeling, translating data into global strategic insights. You will guide stakeholders through complex decisions, ensure data integrity, and drive cost‑effective risk management across a high‑scale transport operation.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with cross‑functional partners to strengthen controllership and performance across the NA TOM Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field.
• 3+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and modeling initiatives, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive global strategic decisions.
• Analyze key performance indicators and validate.
• Champion data integrity and financial controls as a Controllership priority.
• Proactively identify and resolve complex reporting issues while implementing cost-effective risk management solutions.
• Guide business partners through financial decision‑making, particularly in ambiguous situations with limited data.
• Communicate complex financial information with clarity and precision, adapting your approach for different audiences.
• Demonstrate strong leadership by engaging in constructive dialogue, effectively managing disagreement, and driving consensus‑based decisions.
• Build and develop high‑performing teams by recruiting exceptional talent, providing mentorship, and fostering growth opportunities within the Finance organization.
• Lead Finance‑wide initiatives that strengthen the global team, including professional development programs and diversity & inclusion efforts.

About the team

We in the North America (NA) TOM (Transportation Operations Management) Finance Team taking our ability to partner with the Ops business on strategic initiatives seriously, all while maintaining work life harmony.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
• 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, or CPA
• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
