Job Description:

A confidential company is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join its growing team in the Chicago suburbs. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, providing flexibility while ensuring collaboration with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in FP&A, marketing finance, and insurance analysis, along with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
• Prepare statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
• Assist in preparation of financial reporting process and monthly financial reporting review package.
• Support valuation of significant estimates related to insured claims and create/maintain pricing models.
• Work with actuary and risk department to support valuation of significant estimates related to insured claims.
• Collaborate with various departments to improve financial processes and performance.
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, including training non-financial colleagues.
• Support FP&A projects related to internal reporting and financial analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, marketing finance, or insurance analysis.
• Experience with financial modeling and advanced MS Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables).
• Strong understanding of data structure, governance, and flow through financial systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Tableau, or PowerBI is a plus.
• Salary range: $100,000–$115,000 (depending on experience).
• Discretionary bonus potential.
