Job summary

Richelieu Foods, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Supply Chain to deliver financial planning, analysis, and decision support for Supply Chain and Procurement.

You will partner with leadership across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to optimize spend, inventory, and working capital while driving continuous improvement in processes and reporting. The role emphasizes indirect spend controls, budgeting, forecasting, and building advanced Excel models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance/business/supply chain or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive FP&A, supply chain finance, procurement finance or related analytical roles.
• Experience supporting supply chain, procurement, operations or related business functions preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial modeling required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations leadership to provide financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and decision support.
• Analyze procurement spend, PPV, freight and logistics costs, inventory trends, and other supply chain metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reviews for Supply Chain and Procurement functions.
• Develop business cases and financial models to evaluate sourcing initiatives and inventory optimization.
• Deliver monthly variance analyses with drivers, implications, and recommended actions.
• Monitor financial and operational metrics like supplier spend, transportation costs, inventory, working capital, and cost savings initiatives.
• Provide financial support across the product lifecycle including pricing, commercialization, onboarding, and launches.

This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Finance leadership to monitor spending, evaluate sourcing initiatives, optimize inventory and working capital, and identify opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.The position also owns indirect spend operations, ensuring effective systems maintenance, supplier agreement governance, compliance oversight, and continuous improvement of supporting processes. The analyst develops meaningful financial insights, supports forecasting and month-end close activities, and delivers reporting that enables informed business decisions across the end-to-end supply chain.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Finance & Procurement SupportPartner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations leadership to provide financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and decision support.Analyze procurement spend, purchase price variances (PPV), freight and logistics costs, inventory trends, and other supply chain performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities.Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reviews for Supply Chain and Procurement functions.Develop business cases and financial models to evaluate sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, inventory optimization strategies, and operational improvement projects.Deliver concise monthly variance analyses with clear drivers, business implications, and recommended actions.Monitor key financial and operational metrics, including supplier spend, transportation costs, inventory levels, working capital, and cost savings initiatives.Commercialization SupportPartner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, and Operations teams to provide financial support throughout the product lifecycle, including new business pricing, commercialization, customer onboarding, product launches, transitions, and end-of-life activities.Develop financial analyses and cost models to support new business opportunities, sourcing decisions, implementation planning, and operational readiness while ensuring financial objectives are achieved. ERP, Reporting & Data ArchitectureServe as a primaryERP and reporting expert within Supply Chain Finance.Build and maintain advanced Excel‑based models and reporting tools supporting cost management, plant performance, and inventory analysis.Continuously improve reporting through automation, standardized data flows, and enhanced usability for operations and finance.Indirect Spend & ControlsOwn indirect spend operations and associated financial controls, including marketplace systems and supplier governance.Monitor indirect spend performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and partner with Procurement and business leaders to improve spending effectiveness.Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, supplier agreements, and financial controls while supporting process standardization and continuous improvement.Business Partnership & Continuous ImprovementServe as a trusted finance business partner to Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations leadership by providing timely financial insights and recommendations.Support cross-functional initiatives focused on cost optimization, inventory management, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and decision support through automation and data-driven analytics.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.3–5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, supply chain finance, procurement finance, operations finance, or related analytical roles.Experience supporting Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or related business functions preferred.Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial modeling required.Essential Skills and AbilitiesExpert‑level Excel skills, including complex models, dashboards, Power Query, pivot tables, and advanced lookups.Strong ERP proficiency, including data extraction, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.Proven ability to develop scalable reporting solutions that support supply chain, procurement, and financial performance management.Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and operational finance.Experience analyzing procurement spend, logistics costs, inventory performance, and cost savings initiatives.Ability to analyze complex operational and financial data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.High attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively with leaders across Finance and Supply Chain.Adaptable and flexible, capable of shifting priorities based on business needs.Ability to build strong partnerships across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.Willingness to travel to company facilities as business needs require.Working ConditionsHybrid: This role is partially remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a combined home-based and office-based environment.Pay and BenefitsThe following information is provided in accordance with applicable state and local laws. Compensation is based on experience, geographic locations, and other legally permitted factors.
