Job summary
McLeod Health in South Carolina is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial operations, modeling, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis. You will partner with Finance Business Partners and operational leadership to interpret results and guide resource allocation.
The role includes mentoring Analysts, developing reporting in financial systems, and assisting with budgets and forecasts to drive efficiency and cost reductions across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Two years of experience in Finance, Healthcare, Analytics, or related position.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the Finance Team in delivering actionable information and pro forma development.
- Develop complex financial reports and analysis for senior management and Board.
- Maintain communication with analysts to resolve variances from targets.
- Identify trends in data sets with high accuracy.
- Support reporting in financial systems and dashboards and maintain models.
- Monitor procedures to identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Partner with Finance Business partners to achieve financial targets.
- Mentor Financial Analysts to standardize financial models.
- Assist in annual budget preparation and forecast processes.
- Provide technical support to budgeting system users.
