Job summary

XL Industries Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in California to lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.

The role partners with the VP of Finance and business leaders to translate strategy into actionable plans and to deliver insightful BI reports, data models, and dashboards for operational decision making. The candidate will support Operations with analytical tools, Power BI visuals, and PowerPoint presentations, driving timely, accurate financial insights across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
5+ years' relevant work experience in accounting, financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Experience in Construction Accounting and/or Public Accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

Budgeting and forecasting: develop budgets and financial planning schedules at all levels; advise management.
Financial analysis: provide financial and analytical support; compare actuals to budget.
Financial reporting: maintain internal financial reporting package and associated hierarchies; use ViewPoint, Vista, Power BI and Prophix.
Process improvement: lead initiatives to improve budgeting and reporting processes; work cross-functionally.
Develop BI reports, dashboards, data models, and tools to drive insights for operational decisions.
