Senior Financial Analyst (Strategic Advisory Services)

Job Summary

Senior Analysts will support all members of their team on a variety of healthcare engagements. Primary responsibilities include data collection, client financial analysis, market planning, financial modeling, due diligence, research, report writing, and supporting senior staff.

This role provides expert advisory services to help healthcare clients with strategic actions that support growth, transactions, geographic expansion, resource efficiency, and decision-making. Our clients include academic medical centers, community hospitals, physician groups, private equity, and managed care organizations nationwide. We work closely with senior leadership to understand organizational history and market forces, identify improvement options, and develop practical recommendations.

This position is advisory to industry executives, requiring professionalism, timeliness, and intellectual curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather data such as financial statements, operational reports, industry research, and other relevant information.
  • Build and own complex financial models for feasibility testing and strategy development.
  • Perform financial analyses, develop models, conduct due diligence, and prepare presentations, ensuring quality of work.
  • Participate in proposal development and client calls or site visits as needed.
  • Keep team informed of project progress and meet deadlines; notify supervisors of any delays.
  • Contribute to industry thought leadership through internal and external content creation.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and review peers work.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Client-oriented with strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships.
  • Collaborative team player with a desire to contribute thought leadership.

  • Financial modeling experience.

  • Ability to work in-office over 90% of the time.
  • Bachelors degree in management, finance, or accounting.
  • 1-2 years of financial modeling experience.

Travel

  • Approximately 20% travel expected.
