Job summary

Apple is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Engineering FP&A team. You will drive forecasting, annual planning, and quarterly close, while delivering close business analyses to inform product roadmaps and tech choices.

You will build detailed financial models, partner with engineering and product teams, and continually optimize processes to support Apple’s innovation strategy.

Description

This is an opportunity to join the Apple Engineering FP&A team as a Financial Analyst. Our team is responsible for driving the team’s forecast, annual plan, consolidation, and quarter-end close activities in parallel to providing critical analysis to support the company’s product roadmap and technology development decisions. Engineering Finance prepares, tracks, and evaluates performance metrics, provides business and financial analysis in addition to forecasting, reporting, and providing best-in-class business support to the Apple Engineering organization.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years of finance or other relevant work experienceBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong finance and accounting background showing aptitude for understanding complex financial structures and translating into meaningful business drivers.
• Established financial experience performing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis along with a track record of strong financial modeling.
• Outstanding attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work with high level of ambiguity and complexity
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record with collaborating across diverse teams
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for clearly presenting findings to key partners
• Demonstrated ability to automate and improve processes
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience in Adaptive, Tableau, SAP, or FileMaker a plus
