Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Primal Kitchen unit to own financial analysis enabling profitable revenue growth across initiatives such as innovation, renovation, capital expenditures, productivity, and portfolio management.

The role partners with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to build rigorous business cases, translate market insights into actions, and drive ROI across investments. Strong Excel, Tableau, and SAP/Oracle experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative field.
• 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, or similar experience.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and excel in a team atmosphere.
• Strong communication skills and comfort using data and insights to influence; experience with executive presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Commercial P&L knowledge, operations experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with data-visualization tools (Tableau).
• Comfort with ambiguity.
• Self-starter and inquisitive.
• EPM systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle) preferred.
• Experience with syndicated sales data (NPD, IRI, Nielsen) preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will be the Finance lead for innovation, renovation, and capital investment projects.
• Leverage cross-functional partners (Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc.) to develop thorough business recommendations grounded in both quantitative analysis with qualitative input.
• Translates relevant market insights into clear actions to accelerate share gain.
• Drive ROI mindset across investments (Capex, Trade, etc.).
• Develop Category/Brand/SKU profitability analysis and identify risks and opportunities.
• KPI and project reporting for senior leadership.
• Ad hoc projects as needed.

The Senior Financial Analyst will own financial analysis to enable the Primal Kitchen business unit to deliver sustained profitable revenue growth. Scope includes initiatives on innovation, renovation, capital expenditures, productivity, and portfolio management/mix. The Sr. Analyst will work cross-functionally within the business unit and with central partners to build conviction and clarity in decision-making.

New Hire Base Salary Range: $89,800.00 - $112,200.00 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
