Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Irvine, CA to lead budgeting and forecasting efforts for a nonprofit organization. You will partner with department leaders to deliver insights and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Responsibilities include monthly budget-to-actual analyses, financial modeling, and supporting audits. The role emphasizes collaboration, strong Excel skills, and clear communication with non-financial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• At least 3 years managing or supporting a comprehensive budgeting process.
• Experience in nonprofit, higher education, healthcare, or similarly complex orgs preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the annual budgeting process with department leaders.
• Prepare monthly budget-to-actual analyses, forecasts, and reports.
• Monitor spending, identify trends, and advise on financial goals.
• Evaluate program proposals via financial modeling.
• Track restricted funds and advise on fund utilization.
• Support external reporting and audits.
