Amazon’s North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support operational and functional leaders. You will build financial models, analyze problems, and align analyses with business partners to drive improvements.

The role emphasizes controllership, data integrity, and scalable reporting across supply chain. You will collaborate with senior leaders in Finance, Operations, and Technology, contributing to end-to-end financial decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
• MBA or CPA
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Responsibilities

• Build financial models and analyze business problems with limited guidance.
• Draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements.
• Independently align financial and operational analyses with business partners, challenging assumptions when necessary.
• Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance tools and processes across teams.
• Own the financial reporting for a business area and may supervise or teach others in financial reporting.
