Job summary

Amazon Music Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with the Global Promotions team and drive financial discipline across campaigns and data reporting. You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights, build ROI models, and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve controllership and decision-making.

In this role, you will develop comprehensive business cases, ensure reporting accuracy, and collaborate with marketing to shape growth strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience.
• 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
• 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Global Promotions team to develop ROI models, evaluate offers, and craft analyses for promotional campaigns.
• Audit financial data, identify root causes of discrepancies, and implement solutions to resolve finance issues.
• Enhance financial controllership through reporting and process improvements across projects.
• Leverage data-driven insights to identify strategic optimization opportunities and share findings with leaders.
