Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, TN, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst of Merchandising to partner with Bridgestone Retail Operations. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis to enable strategic decision making and performance improvement.

This hybrid role requires advanced Excel modeling, Power BI data insights, and clear communication with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience.
• Advanced modeling, financial consolidation, and reporting experience; proficient in Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; able to work with large data sets.
• Experience creating Power BI dashboards is a plus.

Position Summary
We’re currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst of Merchandising to join our team in Nashville, TN.
This role will provide strategic decision support and be a trusted business partner for Bridgestone Retail Operations. This successful teammate will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Merchandising Finance.
*** This role is a HYBRID position in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday @ Bridgestone HQ in Nashville, TN. ***

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contributor to the forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Ensure financial results are reported in a timely and accurate manner, in compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Interpret and analyze income statements and balance sheets.
• Develop complex financial models.
• Possess strong analytical & evaluation skills.
• Proactively drive strategy and finance discussions within the business.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support and/or lead highly visible special projects on an ad hoc basis.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Communicate candidly and directly to various levels of leadership.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance / MBA a plus
• Minimum of five 3+ years of related work experience
• Extensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience
• Analytical skills, advanced modeling, financial consolidation, and reporting experience. Must be very proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work with large amounts of data from various sources
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and perform well under tight timelines
• Ability to work with and communicate effectively with peers and business leaders to gain support for the execution of strategies and initiatives that need to be implemented
• Experience creating Power BI Dashboards is a plus
