About the RoleMarketing at Gap Inc. is undergoing a major transformation and is seeking exceptional talent for the newly formed Marketing Shared Services organization. Marketing Shared Services is a centralized team that will lead the standardization and innovation of key functions, including Media, Marketing Enablement, and Marketing Intelligence, across all four of Gap Inc.’s iconic brands. Within the Marketing Shared Services organization, the Media Shared Services group will consist of a combination of centralized and embedded resources that will drive a consistent approach to media planning and activation across the portfolio. The team will leverage strategic acumen, deep functional expertise, and scale across the organization to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the brands it serves.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team, focusing on marketing finance operations. In this role, you'll serve as the financial backbone for our marketing department, managing invoice processing, developing insightful financial reports, and optimizing marketing operations through data-driven analysis.What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports to track Marketing Spend, Demand, and ROI against forecast and budgets
  • Process Management: Develop, implement and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Invoicing: Process and validate Marketing POs and media authorizations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms and provide insights on performance against budgets
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial information
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting and management

Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance with a focus on financial reporting and process management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Experience in highly complex, matrixed organization with a proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive change
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work through ambiguity, continuously improve ways of working, and infuse strategic thinking into your work
