Job summary

The World’s Identity Company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team as a dedicated business partner to the Marketing organization. You will be the financial co-pilot for the CMO team, shaping ROI-based decisions and ensuring efficient capital deployment to drive pipeline and revenue.

You will partner with Marketing Leadership & Operations to forecast, model, and present insights, manage budgets, headcount, and variance analysis, and support executive-level reporting.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking experience (SaaS/Software preferred).
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides used to build complex models and exec-ready decks.
  • Ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable narratives for non-finance leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing to manage budget-related questions and build strategic relationships with budget owners.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles for Marketing Opex and Headcount; review and approve POs and spend.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting, Chief of Staff, and HR to align headcount forecasts with the approved plan.
  • Prepare and present monthly Budget vs. Actual decks and support QBRs, Ops Reviews, and leadership meetings.
  • Model ROI, CAC, LTV, and other marketing metrics; support pipeline forecasting and funnel analysis.

In this role, you will be the financial co-pilot for the CMO organization, helping to manage a significant portion of the company’s investment in growth. You won’t just track the numbers; you will help shape them. You will partner with Marketing Leadership & Operations to drive ROI-based decision-making, ensuring we are deploying capital efficiently to drive pipeline and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering: Serve as the point person for all Marketing budget-related questions. Develop deeper, strategic partnerships with a handful of key verticals (e.g., Demand Gen, Digital, Product Marketing), building strong relationships with budget owners to interpret financial results and influence operational decisions.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles for Marketing Opex and Headcount in Anaplan, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with shifting business priorities. Serve as the point person to review and approve POs and spend.
  • Recruiting & Headcount Partnership: Partner closely with Recruiting, the Chief of Staff, and HR to keep headcount forecasts and hiring pace aligned with the approved plan, flagging variances early.
  • Performance Analysis & Executive Reporting: Prepare and present monthly Budget vs. Actuals (BvA) decks, along with other impactful presentations for QBRs, Ops Reviews, and CMO/Finance leadership meetings. Dig into variance drivers, identify risks/opportunities, and articulate the "why" behind the numbers.
  • Pipeline & ROI Modeling: Go beyond the Opex — support pipe gen forecasting and funnel analysis (e.g., funnel conversion and velocity) alongside key marketing efficiency metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), LTV, and Marketing ROI. Partner with Marketing Ops to help the business understand program spend efficiency and pipeline health.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Investment Banking (SaaS/Software experience preferred).
  • Financial Modeling: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides skills, with the ability to build complex models and executive-ready presentations from scratch.
  • Communication: Ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable narratives for non-finance leaders.
  • Systems: Familiarity with Anaplan, NetSuite, Coupa, Salesforce, Workday, and Tableau is a plus.
  • AI Proficiency: Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, and drive productivity gains.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision.

  • Experience supporting a Go-To-Market (Sales or Marketing) organization.
  • Understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, Retention, Magic Number).
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth environment where priorities shift fast.

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:

$117,000—$161,000 USD

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, the company offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington is between:
