Job summary

Supermicro seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team to support enterprise-level financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support across the business.

You will contribute to cash flow planning, quotation analysis, forecasting, and ad hoc business support, with a strong focus on integrating financial data across commercial, operational, and accounting views. This is a high-visibility role with senior leadership exposure and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 8+ years FP&A, financial analysis, cost management, accounting, or related roles; or 5+ years with Master's
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with large data sets
• Advanced Excel and financial systems or reporting tools; SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of products, production processes, and cost structure to identify drivers of gross margin
• Develop and maintain quotation-based gross margin analysis and forecasting by integrating quotation, backlog, sales forecast, product cost, and actuals
• Perform gross margin analysis across customers, products, and business segments to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Partner with Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Cost Accounting, and other teams to validate forecast assumptions and provide actionable insights
• Establish dynamic reporting structures covering quotation, forecast, actual, and variance analysis to improve visibility and accuracy
• Create dashboards and management reports to communicate margin trends and forecast changes
• Manage large data sets to improve forecasting processes and support ad hoc analysis
