Senior Executive Recruiter at LHH/Parker and Lynch

LHH is working with a client that is seeking a new Senior Financial Analyst for their team. This person will support the Finance and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in variance analysis (actuals vs. prior year and budget), process improvement, and excellent interpersonal skills. This role will be essential in supporting variance analysis, maintaining robust policies and procedures, and collaborating across departments to drive financial insights and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete the daily soft close of manufacturing expense accounts.
  • Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring journal entries are accurately recorded and their impact on the General Ledger is understood.
  • Analyze manufacturing and operational variances, providing insights and reports to management.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure alignment and achievement of business objectives.
  • Contribute to the annual corporate operational expense budgeting process and assist with reforecasting when necessary.
  • Aid in the maintenance of data in the ERP system and support the expansion of its software capabilities.
  • Assist in validating that company policies and procedures are being adhered to.
  • Manage the financial dimensions of the maintenance asset register.
  • Support the upkeep of the fixed asset register.
  • Provide operational teams with analysis and insights to aid in data-driven decision-making.
  • Research and analyze manufacturing expenses to ensure proper classification and timing in compliance with corporate policy and US GAAP.
  • Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for the annual audit.
  • Coordinate contract reviews between internal teams and external counsel.
  • Take on special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests promptly and accurately.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and Power Automate is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, nested formulas, and logical statements; VBA, Office Scripts, and macros are a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle occasional out-of-state travel for physical inventory checks and budget planning.
