Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst I to support complex accounting processes and provide in‑depth financial analysis. You will review reconciliations, prepare financial statements, and help strengthen controls. The role requires collaboration with auditors and cross‑functional teams to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance, 5–7 years of accounting experience, and advanced Excel skills. CPA progression is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Experience leading projects or workstreams and cross‑functional delivery.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and communicate with leadership.
• Experience in regulated environments (insurance/financial services) preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting workstreams and projects to support accurate reporting and strong controls.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Evaluate complex accounting issues and provide practical, scalable solutions.
• Design and document procedures, controls, and workflows to improve efficiency and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external auditors to deliver milestones.
• Translate findings into clear updates for business partners and senior leaders.
• Coach and mentor junior staff to strengthen accounting knowledge and discipline.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities with complex reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve financial outcomes.
