Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role on the Financial Planning and Analysis team, providing comprehensive finance support for Base EBITDA budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The role involves in-depth variance analysis on components of Base EBITDA, working with various functional support groups within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide finance support for Base EBITDA budgeting, forecasting, and actual reporting.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis on Base EBITDA components, collaborating across functions.
• Support the preparation of the monthly Cost of Acquisition (COA) report and dashboard.
• Assist in preparing SG&A reports and maintaining the Base EBITDA forecast model.
• Gather and update information for the monthly EBITDA presentation.
• Drive productivity through automation and process improvements.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and drive process improvements.
• Perform duties in accordance with company policies and promote the company's interests.
• Serve diligently, honestly, and with care, exercising prudent judgment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, engineering, business administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Financial Planning or related roles; retail energy experience preferred.
• Experience with financial statements and modeling.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI and SQL experience preferred.
