Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will partner with division sales and service leadership to provide financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and month-end close support. The role emphasizes translating data into actionable insights for divisional performance.

The ideal candidate has a finance or business degree, at least three years of financial analysis experience, and strong Excel and Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related analytical field.
• Minimum of three years of financial analysis experience.
• Insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience integrating data into reporting/analytics platforms (Power BI preferred).
• Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Financial partnership: support division sales and service leadership with analyses and insights.
• Budgeting & forecasting: facilitate annual budgeting and periodic forecasts for the division.
• Variance analysis: identify drivers of budget/forecast variances and communicate findings.
• Investment analysis: assess ROI, financial impact, and alignment with budget objectives.
• Revenue performance tracking: monitor and report on key accounts and trends.
• Payroll & expense monitoring: ensure compliance with headcount and budget targets.
• Monthly financial reviews: prepare materials and lead discussions with leadership.
• Financial commentary & reporting: produce monthly reports and insights.
• Book of business analytics: track metrics like policies, premium, revenue, lines of business.
• KPI reporting: deliver divisional KPIs and insights.
