Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Honolulu to deliver insightful financial reporting, analyze variances, and support regulatory reporting. You will collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and operations to assess financial impact and ensure data integrity across systems.

The role requires 4–6 years in accounting/financial analysis, GAAP expertise, advanced Excel, and strong communication. CPA progress is preferred and experience in financial services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4-6 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience, including at least 2 years within a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and financial statement analysis.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with financial reporting systems and general ledger structures.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver timely, accurate financial reports and analyses for management and executive leadership.
• Analyze financial statements, variances, trends, and key performance metrics to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support external audits and regulatory examinations through reporting and documentation.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and operational teams to assess the financial impact of business activities and transactions.
• Maintain the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of financial data across reporting systems.
• Develop and enhance financial reporting processes and procedures.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close and reporting activities.
• Present financial information, analysis, and recommendations to management.
